Thomas and Mallory's Joyful Wedding at The Bridge Lemont in Lemont, Illinois

For Thomas and Mallory, it makes sense that one of the most important days of their lives be as joyful as they are. When it came to searching for vendors to help bring their wedding visions to life, we were stoked to be a part of the dream team. They wanted an entire day of laughter, good times, and great music, so we made sure that’s exactly what they got. For this Chicagoland wedding, Paul Michaels Events provided DJ services at The Bridge Lemont in Lemont, Illinois. We provided our wedding elite package for their reception, and also provided our ceremony services.
Walking to the building, you might not suspect that The Bridge Lemont would be where some of the happiest days occur. Nestled in downtown Lemont, this rustic-chic venue proved to be the perfect choice for Mallory and Thomas. Not only was the location convenient, but the interior and set up of The Bridge Lemont was able to be molded to fit the couple’s vision. The July weather for this day ended up being just right for their outdoor ceremony. Their ceremony was beautiful and full of (happy) tears and cheers. Guests enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour, then headed to the main dining room for the rest of the reception.
As everyone found their tables and seats, it was time to make the introductions. The grandparents and parents of the couple turned up the energy as they entered to “Club Can’t Handle Me”. The wedding party followed, then the newlyweds let everyone know they were feeling “Good as Hell” as they sashayed their way into the space. Guests settled down a bit, then Thomas and Mallory made a speech, welcoming everyone and thanking them for partaking in their big day. Mallory’s father, Michael, also made a toast to the couple, then offered a prayer to bless the food. A couple other speeches were shared as everyone enjoyed their dinner. After the first dance and dances with their parents, Mallory and Thomas were ready to head to the dance floor and dance the night away. So, DJ Brian turned it up and got the party started.
It didn’t take long for the floor to fill up. DJ Brian played all the best hits to keep the floor packed for the rest of the night. He also made sure to play some of the couple’s favorites, including country, Top 40, and late 90s/early 00s punk rock/alt rock. As a tribute to the groom and his friends, we blasted “Teenage Dirtbag” by Wheatus for everyone to sing along to. It was such a joy to see everyone – including Mallory and Thomas – dancing and screaming lyrics at the top of their lungs. DJ Brian made sure everyone knew that Mallory and Thomas chose the absolute best to provide Chicagoland wedding DJ services!
We’ll never get tired of seeing all the smiles on the dance floor, especially from our newly married couples. Congratulations to Mallory and Thomas, and thank you for choosing us to be a part of your happy day!
