To finish off the 2016 wedding season (at least for myself and my staff) we just rocked out at Laura and Levi’s wedding reception at ThunderHawk Golf Club in Beach Park, IL. Laura and Levi found me as a personal referral from a fellow Chicago DJ, Laura’s step-brother.
Laura and Levi had a beautiful ceremony at the venue where they had their friend playing guitar for their ceremony music. Laura and Levi were unbelievably lucky to have a beautiful day (which isn’t always the case nearing the end of October in Chicagoland) and were able to have part of their cocktail hour outside, and able to take their pictures outside on the gorgeous golf course. During cocktail hour the venue’s staff, as well as myself and Assistant Jon completed a “room flip” to convert the ceremony area into the dance floor complete with the head table.
Once we got the night going, we kept everyone on their feet the entire night as can be seen in the pictures below. We ended out the night with Laura and Levi’s sparkler exit to send them on their way for their honeymoon in New Zealand.
Laura and Levi: I hope you had an amazing time in New Zealand and are still high on the excitement from the wedding. It was fantastic to work with you, and I hope I see you again in the future at your friends’ weddings!
