Lily & Ethan's Electrifying Wedding at The BRIX on the Fox in Carpentersville, Illinois

Lily and Ethan’s wedding was one for the books! Held at the stylish and unique venue known as The BRIX on the Fox, their wedding day was filled with love, laughter, and a dance floor that didn’t quit! We had the pleasure of providing the soundtrack to this unforgettable celebration, blending heartfelt moments with an all-night dance party that truly captured the couple’s vibrant personalities. Lily met DJ Paul at a weekend event in Wisconsin, where she saw him in action and immediately knew she wanted him to DJ her wedding. True to her word, she reached out when the time came, and Paul Michaels Events was there to make her wedding vision come to life!

The day started off beautifully with a touching ceremony led by Lily’s father, Cantor Scott Simon. Standing under a gorgeous chuppah, a traditional canopy symbolizing the couple’s future home, Lily and Ethan exchanged vows in an intimate, heartfelt ceremony that had everyone captivated. It was an incredible beginning to a day that would only get more memorable from there!

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lively cocktail hour while Lily and Ethan’s trusted vendor team seamlessly transformed the space for the dinner reception. The industrial-chic vibe of the venue paired perfectly with rustic elegance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone. As soon as dinner wrapped up, it was time to get the celebration underway!

After some beautiful first dances and a few heartfelt formalities, the night exploded into a high-energy dance party, complete with a traditional horah dance that brought everyone to their feet. There’s something so special about seeing friends and family lifting the bride and groom on chairs, sharing in the couple’s joy with laughter and cheers. DJ Paul then took the lead, creating an electric atmosphere that kept guests dancing nonstop.

Lily and Ethan wanted a mix of genres for their special day, and DJ Paul made sure to deliver! From pop to punk, Latin music, and everything in between, he crafted a playlist that had a little something for everyone. And in a truly unique twist, the night even featured a mosh pit! At the bride and groom’s request, DJ Paul Michaels turned up the energy with some punk rock, and guests formed a fun, spirited mosh pit on the dance floor. It was such a fun, unexpected moment that added a personal touch to their celebration.

As the evening wound down, guests and newlyweds alike were reluctant to leave the dance floor. Lily and Ethan’s wedding was a true reflection of their love, their personalities, and their vision for a day filled with joy, excitement, and unforgettable moments.
