Logan & Meghan's Charming Wedding at Drury Lane Theatre & Events in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois
By Paul Michaels Events

When Meghan and Logan envisioned their wedding day, they wanted it to be more than just a celebration-they wanted it to be a night that their friends and family would never forget. Combining our wedding Experience package and the stunning atmosphere of Drury Lane Theatre, that’s exactly what they got! With an elegant charm and vibrant atmosphere, the stage was set for an incredible night filled with laughter, love, and dance moves that brought the house down. From their grand entrance to the final song, the energy was electric, making it a truly epic occasion.
Kicking off the festivities with style, Meghan and Logan’s bridal party burst into the room to “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire, igniting the crowd with a playful nod to the evening, aka the “21st of September”. The energy was infectious, and when Meghan and Logan followed with their entrance to “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall & Oates, the cheers and applause made it feel like the whole room was ready to burst with joy. The joyous energy continued as they transitioned to their first dance, swaying to “You” by Dan + Shay and taking the enchantment to another level. The ballroom fell silent as guests watched Meghan and Logan sway gracefully under the ballroom lights, with the moment feeling like it was straight out of a storybook. It was one of those rare, cinematic moments that truly left everyone in awe-and it was only the beginning of the magic that night.
Dinner was a feast for both the palate and the heart. As guests savored delicious dishes, the room came alive with touching speeches that sparked laughter and a few tears. Meghan’s dance with her father to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw was heartfelt and beautiful, while Logan’s dance with his mom surprised everyone by transitioning from the sweet “You’ll Be in My Heart” by Phil Collins to the high-energy “Crank That” by Soulja Boy. The room absolutely erupted with cheers as guests joined in the fun-it was the kind of unexpected twist that made the night uniquely theirs.
Once the dance floor officially opened, it was time to turn up the energy, and DJ Tyler didn’t disappoint. With an incredible mix that spanned every genre, from nostalgic punk hits and EDM bangers to sing-along anthems like “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers and “Dancing Queen” by ABBA, there was never a dull moment. The dance floor was packed all night long, with guests of all ages letting loose and dancing like there was no tomorrow. Add in traditional moments like the bouquet toss to “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper and an anniversary dance to “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait, and you had a night full of unforgettable highlights, all wrapped in joy.
The combination of music, lighting, and personal touches transformed Meghan and Logan’s wedding into a celebration that was both intimate and absolutely electrifying. The Crystal Ballroom at Drury Lane Theatre practically glowed with energy, and every beat, every dance move, and every cheer helped make the night truly unforgettable. We at Paul Michaels Events were thrilled to be a part of their magical day, crafting moments that Meghan, Logan, and their guests will cherish forever.
