The 2026 Center Stage Soiree at the Auditorium Theatre

Judie Green and the team at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University put on the Center Stage Soiree this year, and DJ Trois handled the music with Ryan Levin supporting on staff.

The night opened easy — jazz and some lower-energy tracks while guests found their way in, grabbed a plate, and started working the silent auction tables. There was a lot going on early: a solid food spread, good auction prizes, and a photo booth set up right in front of the theater itself, which is a nice backdrop to have when the venue is this historic.

Dinner wound down, a few speeches were said, and that was really the pivot point for the night. Once the speeches wrapped, people were ready to move.

Worth mentioning honestly — there was a tour going on in the building that evening, so the music couldn't run as loud as it normally would. That's just the reality of working in a space like the Auditorium Theatre. Didn't stop anyone, though. Guests danced anyway, volume ceiling and all.

Good crowd, good room, a few real constraints handled well. That's about as good a summary as any for how the night went.
